What are Nano Brows?

Nano brows are a form of permanent makeup that uses a fine, single-needle tattoo machine to create ultra-thin hair strokes on the eyebrows. The needle is so fine that it can mimic the look of natural brow hairs, creating a fuller and more symmetrical appearance. The pigment is deposited deeper into the skin than microblading, which makes nano brows more durable and long-lasting.

– What’s the difference?

Microblading and nano brows are both semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing techniques that create natural-looking hair strokes on the eyebrows. The main difference between them is the tool used to deposit the pigment into the skin. Microblading uses a handheld tool with several small needles that make tiny cuts in the epidermis (the top layer of skin). Nano brows use a single-needle tattoo machine that delivers the pigment deeper into the skin and with more precision. Nano brows last longer than microblading (two to three years versus one to two years) and are more suitable for oily or textured skin. Microblading causes more trauma to the skin and is less permanent, which makes it a good option for normal to dry skin and for those who want to change their brow shape later.
